Description
This cheese is a gentle curmbly beast, an old fashioned dales cheese made by the nice folk at Hawes. It has a little more sharpness to the flavour than Wensleydale.
It comes a 1kg truckle which makes a superb centrepiece for a big cheese board or sits well in a cheese wedding cake. Although not well known it is a very popular cheese when we do tastings.
