Gruth Dhu (200g)

Pronounced groo-doo (sort of) this is a highland crowdie that has been wrapped in oatmeal and cracked black pepper.

The crowdie has a soft moussey texture that is spreadable.  The taste is gentle with a lemony tang to the cheese quickly by the heat of the peppers. If you love black pepper this is the cheese for you.

The cheese is a real treat with a good coarse oatcake.
