The Classic

 

This is a cake which becomes a fabulous cheeseboard when broken down. 

A mature farmhouse cheddar is on the bottom, next layer is Appleby's Cheshire,  then a Cornish Yarg with its nettle covering.  Top is a soft, creamy cheese the Pave D'affinois. And the cake is surrounded by individual waxed cheddars.

We always tailor the cake to your needs and tastes, but this one is a classic that many will enjoy.  It has around 12 kilos of cheese so is suitable for celebration with 100 - 150 guests.
